“I had so much fun here!

Jaime, one of the cooks, was very friendly, affable, and fun to talk to.

The chili cheese burger was delish.

The spicy Polish New Yorker WAS quite spicy. I am a gal who likes it spicy and really, for me it was a little much. I mistakenly thought the yellow peppers were mild, they weren’t…they were the fire-breathers. Get it, but be aware of the possibilities.

The chili cheese fries were tasty…get ‘em

Strangely, they offer chocolate dipped bananas and ice cream bars. I find that strange, but that’s just me ice cream stuff in a burger, dog, fry joint.

I dig the overhead racks inside like a true train car where you can put a back pack or purse, etc.

Value-the food is a great value!

“I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and have been eating at Carney’s for years. They have the best chili burgers and chili fries. It is way better than Tommy’s.

The food here seems to resonate with natives, however I can see why a lot of non-natives cannot get it. Chili burgers are messy and greasy and adults generally hate messy and greasy food. Yet, people like me were exposed to this food before we had dry clean only slacks and knew what a tri-glyceride was, so we do not care.

I am giving it 4 and half stars and not 5 because the fries without chili are nothing special.”
